Description |
Cisco IOS® Software Release 11.3NA delivers functionality for Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP), H.323 Multimedia Conference Manager, Voice-to-Fax, and other voice/video features. Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3(2)NA also introduced several VoIP and H.323 features on the Cisco 2500, 3600, ubr7XXX, ubr9XX and Cisco 5300 series routers. Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3(2)NA is the first NA release and is directly parented to Cisco IOS 11.3(2)T.
Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3(x)NA is meant to be a short-lived release to bridge the gap between Cisco IOS 11.3(3)T and Cisco IOS 12.0(1)T releases. For more information, see the following pages: |

Maintenance Releases |
This is a time-based maintenance release. Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3T is the 7-week maintenance release model. Each maintenance release is synchronized to Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3M to capture bug fixes committed to the base code. An interim build is executed once a week. | ||||
Interim Builds |
Interim builds are not recommended and are not fully tested. Customers will only be provided with interim builds when a critical defect renders the maintenance release unusable.

Recommended Migration |
If currently using Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3, the recommended upgrade path is Cisco IOS 12.0 or 12.0T. If currently using Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3T, the recommended upgrade path is Cisco IOS 12.0 or 12.0T. The migration path is the logical superseding software. The uniqueness of each network requires that customers verify support for hardware, features, and protocols prior to a massive network upgrade.
