Supported Platforms
Product Overview
The Monitoring Center for Security (Security Monitor) and the Management Center for IDS Sensors (IDS MC) applications provide a web-based interface for configuring, managing, and monitoring multiple IDS Sensors. Additionally, you can use Security Monitor to monitor the following:
Supported Devices
For information about supported devices and software versions, see Supported Devices and Software Versions for Management Center for IDS Sensors 1.2 on Windows 2000 and Supported Devices and Software Versions for Monitoring Center for Security 1.2 on Windows 2000.
Supported Platforms
IDS MC and Security Monitor are supported on both the Microsoft Windows and the Sun Solaris platforms. Because the applications are web-based, the interfaces for the Solaris-based application and the Windows-based application are identical.

Note The Windows version and the Solaris version are shipped on separate CD-ROMs. Verify that you have the CD-ROM for the desired platform before proceeding to the appropriate installation instructions. |
