The Addressable Network Management Systems (ANMS) scramblers from Scientific Atlanta are designed to help worldwide cable network operators ensure that paying subscribers receive content - and others do not. All scramblers can be configured using as many as 30 scrambling modes, and provide:
Dynamic switched sync suppression
Video and sync inversion
Dropfield scrambling
Some products in this series also include SoundProtect audio masking, which keeps non-subscribers from so much as hearing transmissions. Products in this series are compatible with all existing Scientific-Atlanta addressable and non-addressable analog home terminals and some are also compatible with Jerrold, Zenith, Hamlin, Eagle, Tocom, and Pioneer scrambling systems.
