This document provides information about how to load VPN 3000 Series Concentrator Management Information Bases (MIBs) onto your system.
Cisco recommends that you have knowledge of these topics:
Your network management platform (for example, CiscoWorks or HP OpenView)
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
The information in this document is based on all software and hardware versions for the VPN 3000 Series Concentrator.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.

Select Configuration > System > Management Protocols > SNMP, check Enable, and then click Apply to enable SNMP on VPN 3000 Concentrator. The default options are displayed as this window shows:
Load the VPN 3000 Concentrator MIBs on your system in this order:

Note: If you use Cisco Network Management applications, include cisco-cdp.mib and cisco-tc.mib where the asterisk (*) is located.

Loading all of the MIBs listed in the Loading Order section is not required. Only these MIBs are essential:
You must load these MIBs if you want to manage IPsec functionality:
Load additional MIBs, in the order previously specified, according to the functionality you want to manage.
