End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement
for the PA-5EFL Port Adapter
Cisco Systems announces the end of sale and end of life for the Cisco PA-5EFL port adapter. The last day to order the Cisco PA-5EFL port adapter is July 31, 2003. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 31, 2008. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco PA-5EFL port adapter.
This port adapter is used in the Cisco 7100, 7200, 7400, 7500, and uBR7200 series routers and the Catalyst® 5000 Series Switches.
There are no replacement products for the Cisco PA-5EFL port adapter.

Customers with a SMARTnet or a comprehensive maintenance program contract are entitled to free software updates, 24-hour phone support through the Cisco TAC, and hardware repairs. Customers with comprehensive maintenance program contracts also receive onsite service. Customers who do not have a maintenance contract can purchase software updates and hardware repair services from Cisco to meet specific requirements.
Customers can use the Cisco Technology Migration Plan (TMP) to trade in products and receive credit toward the purchase of new Cisco equipment. For more information about Cisco TMP, go to: http://www.cisco.com/go/tradein. The Cisco TMP application requires all users to have a Cisco.com user ID.
