Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator Software v3.5 and v3.6. The last day to order Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator Software v3.5 and v3.6 is December 12, 2004. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until December 12, 2005. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator Software v3.5 and v3.6.

System Requirements
Platform, Flash, and RAM requirements for Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator Software v4.1 are identical to those for v3.6. Customers with Cisco VPN 3000 Series concentrators, models 3005 through 3080; and Altiga Networks VPN concentrators, models C10 through C60; are able to run Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator Software v4.1.
FIPS 140-2 L2 Certification
The FIPS image of v3.6 is not affected by this announcement, and will continue to be made available and supported.
