Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for CiscoWorks VPN/Security Management Solution (VMS) 2.2. The last day to order CiscoWorks VMS 2.2 is June 22, 2005. Customers with active service contracts will continue to have access to online updates posted on the Cisco® Software Center, and will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until June 22, 2008. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the CiscoWorks VMS 2.2. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
As of this announcement, the next release of CiscoWorks VMS is version 2.3. CiscoWorks VMS 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2 customers are encouraged to migrate to version 2.3 as soon as possible when it is available at the end of January 2005. CiscoWorks VMS 2.3 offers many new features and improvements over past releases. Details are listed in individual datasheets at: http://www.cisco.com/go/vms
