Cisco® Security Agent is the only endpoint security solution that protects laptops, desktops, and servers from new malware threats and confidential data loss, while providing a lower total cost of ownership. Unlike other endpoint security solutions, Cisco Security Agent secures endpoints while they are on or off the corporate network, using tightly integrated behavior-based detection, data loss prevention, intrusion prevention, antivirus, antispyware, acceptable use, and compliance policies-providing proven and persistent protection.

New Features
Additional new features of Cisco Security Agent Version 6.0.1 include:
• Performance improvements for data loss prevention and antivirus scanning
• Additional operating system support for agent platforms
• Standalone agent IPv6 enhancement for standalone agents
Upgrade Paths
Cisco Security Agent Version 6.0.1 provides new features and an upgrade path for all existing Cisco Security Agent customers. All Cisco Security Agent customers who have purchased Cisco Software Application Support (SAS) or Software Application Support Plus Upgrades (SASU) are entitled to upgrade from prior versions of Cisco Security Agent to Cisco Security Agent Version 6.0.1.
Availability
Cisco Security Agent 6.0.1 will be available in April 2009.
