Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for Cisco® Conference Connection. The last day to order the affected product is August 28, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until August 27, 2009.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco MeetingPlace® Express, an integrated voice and Web conferencing solution that provides simple, powerful conferencing functions that are easy to deploy and manage. Information about the replacement product can be found at http://www.cisco.com/go/meetingplaceexpress. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product.

The recommended replacement for Cisco Conference Connection is Cisco MeetingPlace Express. Cisco Conference Connection customers with systems that have more than 120 concurrent user licenses (ports) should consider migrating to a Cisco MeetingPlace solution.
Customers who had Cisco Conference Connection and Software Application Support plus Upgrades (SASU) prior to December 30, 2005, can upgrade to Cisco MeetingPlace Express with the Product Upgrade Tool (PUT). This upgrade, which will be available through July 29, 2006, provides the Cisco MeetingPlace Express software and equivalent voice conferencing licenses at no additional charge.
Customers can also use the Cisco Technology Migration Plan (TMP) to trade in products and receive credit toward the purchase of Cisco MeetingPlace Express or Cisco MeetingPlace through July 29, 2006.
