The Cisco® 3745 Multiservice Access Router continues to meet the demands of new services and larger networks through the support of 512 MB of synchronous dynamic RAM (SDRAM) memory. This allows the Cisco 3745 Multiservice Access Router to support a greater number of services, larger routing tables, and leaves room for future growth.
The Cisco 3745 Multiservice Access Router has two Small Outline-DIMM (SODIMM) memory slots on the motherboard. Each slot can hold one ofthese memory sizes:
• 64 MB
• 128 MB
• 256 MB
The default memory in the Cisco 3745 Multiservice Access Router is 256 MB. This is shipped from Cisco Systems® using two 128 MB SODIMMs.
256 MB SODIMM REQUIREMENTS
In order to use the 256 MB SODIMM in a Cisco 3745 Multiservice Access Router, minimum ROMmon and Cisco IOS® Software versions are required, as shown in Table 1. There are no minimum ROMmon or Cisco IOS Software requirements for the 64 MB and 128 MB SODIMMs.
