Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(13)ZF
This product bulletin describes the content and delivery information about Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.2(13)ZF. It should be used in conjunction with the product bulletin titled Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3T. Release 12.2(13)ZF is a short-lived early-deployment release which will be later supported in the 2nd release of 12.3T and supporting the Cisco 1700 Routers and the ICS7700 Series.
The platform and features delivered with this early-deployment release will be immediately incorporated into the 2nd release of Cisco IOS Version 12.3T. The time frame for the 2nd release of the 12.3T train is the 4th quarter of 2003 - please note - this date might be subject to change.
Future early-deployment releases will be provided for maintenance support until the 12.2(13)ZF release becomes available in the 2nd release of 12.3T.
Note: No new features are introduced for the IC7700 platforms. For these products, 12.2(13)ZF is a maintenance release only.

Frame Relay SVC over ISDN
- Cisco 1721, 1751, 1760 IP PLUS feature set (sy images)
This feature supports FR SVCs over an ISDN line. A common use of the functionality in network topology is to put such link as a backup route. This feature is to enable the support of current FR SVC function to take place on an ISDN BRI interface, as if running on a serial line. FR SVC implementation remains to be user side only, as currently supported. FR switching does not apply.
The currently known application by customers is to put BRI line as a backup (redundant) route, and then in the case of main interface failure, dynamic routing protocol shall attempt on using this BRI interface, and hence FR SVC shall be established to carry packets through, until the main interface is restored in service.
DHCP Authorized ARP
- Cisco 1710, 1721, 1751, 1760 IP feature set (y images)
This feature includes enhancements to the DHCP and ARP components of Cisco IOS to limit the leasing of IP addresses to mobile users to authorized users.
