Cisco® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco 12000 Series OC12c/STM-4 DPT Line Cards. The last day to order the affected product(s) is February 1, 2001. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available until the termination date of the contract, even if this date exceeds the Last Date of Support shown in Table 1.
On February 1, 2001, the OC-12/SRP line cards having part numbers OC12/SRP-MM-SC(=), OC12/SRP-IR-SC(=), and OC12/SRP-LR-SC(=) will no longer be offered by Cisco. These products are being superseded by line cards with part numbers OC12/SRP-MM-SC-B(=), OC12/SRP-IR-SC-B(=), and OC12/SRP-LR-SC-B(=), which have identical functionality. The new part numbers have error-correcting code (ECC), and the memory options will be the same as the original parts. The new OC-12/SRP line cards require a minimum Cisco IOS Software version of 12.0(10)S or higher and 11.2(19)GS4 or higher. List price for the replacement line cards is the same as for the non-ECC versions. The new OC-12/SRP line cards are currently orderable. This end-of-life product bulletin is a re-creation of the original bulletin published on August 1, 2000.

The last date to extend or renew a service contract for the product.

Last Date of Support:
The last date to receive service and support for the product. After this date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete.

• This product will no longer be orderable after February 1, 2001. All last-time-buy orders by customers must be received on or before this date.
• Service contracts on these products will not be renewed after October 31, 2004.
