Cisco® announces the end-of-sale dates for the Cisco 12000 Series 4-Port Gigabit Ethernet Line Card 5-Pack Bundle. The last day to order the affected product(s) is December 7, 2008. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until otherwise specified by a component-specific end-of-life announcement or new Product ID. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available until the termination date of the contract, even if this date exceeds the Last Date of Support shown in Table 1.

Product Migration Options
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco 2-, 5-, 8-, or 10-port Gigabit Ethernet Shared Port Adapters (part numbers SPA-2X1GE-V2, SPA-5X1GE-V2, SPA-8X1GE-V2, or SPA-10x1GE-V2 configured with 12000-SIP-401, 12000-SIP-501, or 12000-SIP-601). Please check Cisco IOS® Software version and SIP compatibility for these shared port adapters. Information about these products can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6267/prod_module_series_home.html. The affected products will be supported in software until two years after end of support.
