EOS/EOL for the Cisco MCS 7825-H1 Media Server and Cisco IPICS Appliance

Product Bulletin No. EOL4111

Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco MCS 7825-H1 Media Server and Cisco IPICS Appliance (with H1 Server). The last day to order the affected product is November 23, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until November 22, 2011.

Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco MCS 7825-H2 Media Server (server only option) or the Cisco IPICS Appliance with the MCS 7825-H2 server operating the Cisco IPICS Server Software (server with software option). Table 2 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product.

Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco MCS 7825-H2 Media Server (server only option) or the Cisco IPICS Appliance with the MCS 7825-H2 server operating the Cisco IPICS Server Software (server with software option).
