Cisco Monitor Manager 1.1.2: Agent for Cisco Monitor Director

Product Overview

Cisco® Monitor Manager 1.1.2 is a comprehensive management application designed for the needs of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with as many as 250 IP phones. It provides monitoring of key device parameters on Cisco network devices including routers and switches, access points, IP phones, and Cisco Unified Communications applications such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (formerly Cisco Unified CallManager Express) and Cisco Unity® Express. Cisco Monitor Manager also provides support for the newly introduced Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series for small businesses. It also provides support for Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)-capable and IP-addressable devices from other vendors in the network. It monitors the network 24 hours a day, periodically polling and collecting inventory and performance-monitoring data from the managed devices.
Cisco Monitor Manager performs automatic discovery of the entire underlying network infrastructure and Cisco Unified Communications System. The application provides real-time physical view, service-level details, and current operational status of each element in the Cisco Unified Communications Solution.
Cisco Monitor Manager is offered as a self-managed application for SMBs. It includes a one-time perpetual license. Cisco Monitor Manager also works as an onsite software agent of the Cisco Monitor Director solution that helps partners provide managed services to their SMB customers. It provides distributed intelligence, comprehensive alerts, and reports to the Cisco Monitor Director application, which resides at the managed service provider's location. Please contact a Cisco reseller in your area for more information on the Cisco Monitor Manager.
Cisco Support Services, which include access to Cisco.com, minor software updates, and access to the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC), require the purchase of a Cisco Software Application Support (SAS) contract. A Cisco SAS contract can be purchased through normal Cisco sales channels. Please contact your local authorized Cisco partner or reseller for more details.
Cisco Monitor Manager 60-day evaluation software can be downloaded from http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/CiscoMM-crypto. At the end of the 60-day evaluation period, a license should be purchased to extend the use of the application beyond this timeframe. Please use the product part numbers in Table 1 for ordering the appropriate package for your needs.
