Cisco Systems® announces the end of life of CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution (LMS) 2.2. The last day to order CiscoWorks LMS 2.2 is July 31, 2005. Customers with appropriate Cisco® Software Application Support service contracts will continue to have access to software updates through Cisco.com, and will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 31, 2008.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the CiscoWorks LMS 2.2. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The current release of CiscoWorks LMS, at the time of this bulletin's posting, is version 2.5. CiscoWorks LMS 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2 customers are encouraged to migrate to version 2.5 as soon as feasibly possible. CiscoWorks LMS 2.5 offers many new features and improvements over past releases of LMS. These details are listed in individual data sheets, available at http://www.cisco.com/go/lms.
Table 3 highlights the update paths available for customers using CiscoWorks LMS 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 that are interested in migrating to the CiscoWorks LMS 2.5 release.
