Cisco Systems® announces the Cisco® Route Manager 2.3 for Linux and Solaris that monitors unicast and multicast routing tables and reports upon any changes.
Cisco Route Manager is a Web-based software application that allows users to monitor all of the important information contained in their unicast or multicast routing tables. It can perform the monitoring at scheduled intervals or on demand and allows users to select the routers to check. If changes are detected then a detailed report is generated and available for viewing. Historical data regarding the number of routes that exist is also available. Table 1 describes the Cisco Route Manager features.

AVAILABILITY
Cisco Multicast Manager 2.3 will begin shipping April 15, 2005. Customers who want to purchase this product can place orders through their normal sales channels beginning April 15, 2005.
