Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for Cisco® MPLS Tunnel Builder and MPLS Tunnel Builder Pro. The last day to order Cisco MPLS Tunnel Builder and MPLS Tunnel Builder Pro is June 28, 2005. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until June 28, 2008. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for Cisco MPLS Tunnel Builder and MPLS Tunnel Builder Pro. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco IP Solution Center Traffic Engineering Management application, which covers all Cisco MPLS Tunnel Builder and MPLS Tunnel Builder Pro features and adds numerous features, including a relational database, role-based access control (RBAC), a user audit trail, and Cisco's unique primary tunnel path optimization. Information about the replacement product can be found at: www.cisco.com/go/isc. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating from Cisco MPLS Tunnel Builder and MPLS Tunnel Builder Pro to the Cisco IP Solution Center Traffic Engineering Management application.

The Traffic Engineering Management application is part of the Cisco IP Solution Center, a family of intelligent element management applications for planning, provisioning, and troubleshooting MPLS and Metro Ethernet networks.
