TECHNOLOGY MIGRATION OPTIONS
RTM functions can be grouped into four general areas:
• Providing monitoring of port statistics using mini-Remote Monitoring (RMON)
• Enabling global configuration of Cisco Network Analysis Modules (NAMs)
• As a console to analyze and display RMON data collected by a NAM
• Aggregating traffic data from multiple NAMs
Table 3 summarizes the technology migration options by RTM functional group.
