END-OF-LIFE NOTICE, NO. 1278
OVERVIEW
CNBU (Content Networking Business Unit) is announcing the End-of-Life for the original ArrowPoint CS-100 Switch Line with part numbers CS-100-LAN-01, CS-100-LAN-02, and CS-100-LAN-03. The Cisco® equivalent part numbers, although never on a Cisco price list, are CSS-11101-AC, CSS-11102-AC, and CSS-11103-AC, respectively. The same functionality and feature set is available on the CSS-11151-AC, CSS-11152-AC, and CSS-11153-AC.
MINIMUM SOFTWARE
Regardless of what version of software is executing on the original CS-100, the minimum revision of WebNS Software needed to support the CSS-1115x is v3.10.
SUMMARY OF END-OF-LIFE PLAN
Note: This new part number is intended to be the long-term replacement for the previously available switch part number.

END OF PRODUCTION DATE
End of production occurred in April 2000.

The last software support date will be April 2003, the last supported version of software is intended to be WebNS 5.0.
END-OF-SUPPORT ANNOUNCEMENT
The End of Support announcement will occur in October 2003.
DATE FOR DISCONTINUING RENEWAL OF CONTRACTS
End of contract renewals will be in April 2004.
OBSOLETION
The CSS-1110X-AC products will be declared obsolete in April 2005.
