END-OF-LIFE NOTICE, NO. 709
On December 23, 1997, Cisco® introduces two new products: Cisco LocalDirector 410 and Cisco LocalDirector 420. As a result, the End-of-Sale of Cisco LocalDirector with part number CA-LDIR will be on March 1, 1998. The End-of-Sale of the corresponding SMARTnet® contract with part number CON-SNT-LDIR will also occur on that date. Beginning March 1, 1998, Cisco LocalDirector (CA-LDIR) and SMARTnet (CON-SNT-LDIR) service contracts will no longer be orderable.

The replacement product for the Cisco LocalDirector (CA-LDIR) is the Cisco LocalDirector 420 with part number LDIR-420; the new SMARTnet contract has part number CON-SNT-LDIR-420.
