Role Requirements


To achieve the Wireless LAN Specialization, Cisco requires the partner to fulfill each defined job role: Account Manager, Systems Engineer and Field Engineer. An individual can be allocated to a maximum of two job roles in a maximum of two specializations.

Because technology continues to evolve, Cisco specialization requirements are subject to change. Please refer to this site often to ensure you meet all program requirements before you submit your specialization application. Only completion of exams listed below will qualify individuals to fulfill a job role.

The Wireless LAN Specialization requirements are as follows:

Account Manager: Responsible for Wireless LAN sales methodology and customer engagement.

    Required Pre-requisite
  • Cisco Sales Expert (#646-203 or #646-202)

    Note: From March 7, 2006 through May 31, 2006, you may earn your Cisco Sales Expert badge by successfully completing either exam #646-203 or #646-202. After June 1, 2006, exam #646-202 will be retired and be replaced by exam #646-203; however the certification remains valid for two years from the pass date.
