Cisco Aironet 1500 Series Access Point Power Injector Installation Instructions
The Cisco Aironet 1500 Series Access Point Power Injector products increase wireless LAN deployment flexibility of the access point by combining 48-VDC power with the data signal, sending both to the Cisco Aironet Access Point.

Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to install the power injector:
Step 1
Plug a Category-5 Ethernet cable into the port labeled Output on the power injector.
Note
The maximum Ethernet cable length is 128 ft. (38 m) from the switch to the power injector and 200 ft. (61 m) from the power injector to the access point.
Step 2
Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet Port on the access point.
Step 3
Plug a Category-5 Ethernet cable into the port labeled Input on the power injector.
Step 4
Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into your 10/100 Ethernet switch, hub, or network.
Step 5
Plug the power cord into the three-pronged receptacle on the end of the Power Injector
Step 6
Connect the other end of the power cord into a 120-VAC to 250-VAC power source.
