Problem Symptoms
Cisco Unity subscriber messages are reported through the conversation as arriving today, tomorrow or yesterday rather than the proper date the message was delivered.
Problem Description and Resolution
When deciding whether to play the "today," "yesterday," or "tomorrow" prompt, the code would get the current time on machine running Unity. It would then calculate a difference between that time and the arrival time of the current message. The arrival time of the message, however, had already been adjusted to the time zone of the subscriber. As such, the time difference was done for times in different time zones.
The resolution to was to adjust the current time on Unity to the subscriber's time prior to calculating the difference.
