Problem Symptoms

Japanese characters are unable to be displayed on the Cisco Unity server.

Problem Description and Resolution

The CodePage and LCID settings on the server were not being set on the server side and the charset setting in the browser was not set. They are now being set to work with the Japanese character set.

Special Installation Instructions

Do not install this ES unless using the Japanese character set on your Cisco Unity Server.

New and Changed Behavior

This fix will render the Cisco Unity SA screens on any non-Japanese system illegible.
