There are six versions of the Cisco Unity installation guide, each containing instructions for a specific configuration. Use the following list to confirm that you are using the correct version of the guide for the Cisco Unity version 5.x configuration that you are installing.

Installation Guide for Cisco Unity Release 5.x in a Unified Messaging Configuration with Microsoft Exchange (Without Failover)
This version of the guide is for a Cisco Unity Unified Messaging system running version 5.x, and using Exchange 2007, Exchange 2003, or Exchange 2000 as the partner Exchange server. The system is not configured for Cisco Unity failover.
Use this guide when any Cisco Unity subscriber mailboxes will be homed in Exchange 2007, Exchange 2003, and/or Exchange 2000.
