Importing Cisco Unified SRST Sites
A branch office site is created on the SRSV-UMG device to correspond to each Cisco Unified SRST reference configured on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager. The SRSV-UMG device retrieves the Cisco Unified SRST references from the Cisco Unified Communications Manager and creates a site for each reference.
Before You Begin
•
You must have at least one Cisco Unified SRST site configured on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
•
Before collecting the Cisco Unified SRST references from the Cisco Unified Communications Manager, you must install the appropriate TLS certificate. See the Installation and Upgrade Guide for Cisco Unified Messaging Gateway Release 8.0 for information about certificates.
Procedure
Step 1
Log in to the Cisco UMG GUI. See the Logging In to the Cisco UMG Graphical User Interface (GUI) module.
Step 2
Select Configure > Central Call Agents.
The system displays the Central Call Agents page.
Step 3
Click the underlined name of a central call agent.
The system displays the CUCM Profile page.
Step 4
Click the SRST Reference tab.
The system displays the Cisco Unified SRST references that are currently on the Cisco Unified SRSV system.
Step 5
Click Retrieve SRST References to manually retrieve the Cisco Unified SRST references.
The system displays a warning message stating that depending on the number of Cisco Unified SRST references, this could take a while. We recommend that you do this during non-peak call load hours.
Step 6
Click OK to continue.
The system automatically creates new branch office sites for each Cisco Unified SRST reference.
When finished, the system refreshes the CUCM page to display the Cisco Unified SRST references that were retrieved.
Step 7
To view the sites, go to Configure > Sites.
The system displays all the sites, including the following information:
•
Site name
•

•
Name of the corresponding Cisco Unified Communications Manager
•
Hostname and IP address of the corresponding Cisco Unified SRST
•
Name of the corresponding Cisco Unity Connection
