Cisco Unified MeetingPlace System Authentication
Depending on what the isLocalUser user profile setting is for each user, the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace system authenticates users by one of these methods:
•
Locally against the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace user database (isLocalUser is Yes)
•
Externally through AXL authentication (isLocalUser is No)
Note
For details, see "External AXL Authentication for Directory Service Users" in the Configuring Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Directory Service on MeetingPlace-Scheduled and Audio-Only Deployments module.
