Revised: October 23, 2012 7:47 pm
The Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Windows operating system is provided by Cisco and is the only supported operating system on the Web Server. The Cisco UCS and Cisco MCS platforms supported for the Release 8.5 Web Server (http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace_Release_8.5_--_Hardware_Requirements#Web_Server_Requirements) have Windows security patches for the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Windows OS. Windows security updates for Cisco UCS are released on a monthly basis. Security patches for the Cisco MCS are released on a quarterly basis after the first patch in mid-October.
Cisco will provide an installer with operating system updates on cisco.com, with instructions to download and deploy these updates.
