Before You Begin

Complete the tasks described in the Quick Start for Installing and Configuring Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 8.5 module.

Procedure

	High-Level Task	Where to Find Instructions
Step 1	Install or upgrade your Cisco WebEx site to version WBS27 SP27 or later. Your Cisco WebEx Site must have XML API 5.8 enabled. This task requires approximately 24 to 48 hours. Note If Cisco Unified MeetingPlace detects that your system does not meet the minimum requirements, a warning message in your administrative interface requests that you contact technical support. Step 2	Obtain two physical or virtual servers to host Cisco Unified MeetingPlace.	Installing the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Server Software module
Step 3	Install Cisco Unified MeetingPlace on two application servers. During the installation process, select Express for your media server type and select MeetingPlace/WebEx with WebEx Scheduling as your deployment type. Step 4	Sign in to the Administration Center and use the Cisco WebEx Configuration page to connect your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace installation to your Cisco WebEx site. This task requires 5-10 minutes.	About Integrating with Cisco WebEx module
Step 5	Choose one of your two application servers to be your master node and add your second server as a node to the first server's system. This task requires 5-10 minutes.	Configuring Nodes in the Configuring your Multinode Topology for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace module
Step 6	Configure a test account in your Cisco WebEx interface and use the account to schedule and launch a Cisco WebEx meeting. This task requires approximately 15 minutes.	Cisco WebEx Site Administration documentation

Your installation and configuration tasks are complete and you have a functional multinode system.
