Cisco Jabber IM for iPhone allows users to be logged into both desktop and mobile IM clients simultaneously using Cisco WebEx Messenger or Cisco Unified Presence. This is done by sending a different resource ID for each client. The resource ID for Cisco WebEx Messenger is wbxconnectiphone. The resource ID for Cisco Unified Presence is JABBERIPHONE. Messages are received on both devices if you are logged into desktop and mobile applications simultaneously. Chat remains with the device you use to respond after that. If a user switches from desktop to mobile or mobile to desktop, messages will be sent to that resource.
