Start Mobile Communicator

Choose the Cisco icon on the phone application menu.

Choose an item
|
Click (press) the joystick on a highlighted item.
|
Open a menu
|
Choose the Options softkey.
|
Dial a phone number
|
From the Home view, enter a phone number and choose Dial.
From other views, highlight an entry and press the Send key or choose Dial from the menu.
|
Send a text message
|
Highlight a contact and choose Send Message.
|
View and listen to your office voice mail messages
|
Open the Voicemail view and scroll to the message you want to listen to. Choose Play Voicemail from the Options menu.
|
Dial into a conference
|
Open the Conferences view and highlight the conference you want to dial into. Choose Dial from the menu.

Search the office directories for contacts
|
Open the Directory view and choose Remote Search.
|
Activate your Availability Status
|
From the Home view, navigate to Status, and scroll left and right to choose an Availability Status.
|
Check the Availability Status of other Mobile Communicator users
|
Open the Directory view and find the Mobile Communicator user.
Check the icon next to their name for their Availability Status.
|
Receive conference alerts
|
From the Home view, choose Settings > Conference Settings. Set Conference Notifications to Receive.
|
Receive new office voice mail message alerts
|
From the Home view, choose Settings > Voicemail Settings. Set Voicemail Messages to Receive.
|
View your missed, received, and dialed mobile phone and office phone calls
|
Open the Calls view.
To view office phone calls, choose Settings > Call Log Settings. Set Office Call Logs to Receive.

View your text messages
|
Open the Messages view.
