Deleting Voicemail Messages
Voicemail messages in the Voicemail view expire based on the Days to Keep Voicemail setting you configure in the User Portal. After a message expires, it remains in the Voicemail view for an additional 24 hours. See the Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator User Portal Guide for instructions on configuring this setting.
Note
The Days to Keep Voicemail setting is separate from the expiration date for your voicemail system set by the system administrator (typically 30 days). The system administrator setting may override your Days to Keep Voicemail setting.
You can also manually delete a voicemail message, as described next.
Note
When a voicemail message expires, it is not deleted from your office voicemail. However, when you manually delete a voicemail message from the Voicemail view, the message is removed from your office voicemail.
To delete a voicemail message:
Procedure
Step 1
Open the Voicemail view and select the message you want to delete.
Step 2
Choose Delete from the menu.
The message is deleted from your Voicemail view and from your office voicemail.
