Preface
Objective
This guide describes how to install, cable, and configure the Cisco IP Phone 7905G for H.323. Included are configuration steps for network parameters, standard services, and supplemental services. The guide also includes reference information for all configuration methods and safety.
This guide does not cover information that is related to the implementation of an H.323 Voice over IP (VoIP) network.
Audience and Scope
This guide is intended for service providers and network administrators who administer VoIP services using the Cisco IP Phone 7905G for H.323. The tasks described in this guide are not intended for end users of the Cisco IP Phone 7905G for H.323. Many of these tasks affect the ability of the Cisco IP Phone 7905G for H.323 to function on the network and require an understanding of IP networking and telephony concepts.
