Before You Begin Upgrading Cisco Unity
To successfully perform upgrades to the latest version of Cisco Unity on your Cisco Integrated Communications System 7750 (ICS 7750), you must complete the following preparations.
Hardware Requirements
The system processing engine (SPE) on which Cisco Unity is installed must meet the following requirements:

Must be model SPE310
•
Must be equipped with 1 gigabyte (GB) memory

Software Requirements
Any SPE310 on which Cisco Unity is installed must be running ICS System Manager Release 2.6.2 and Operating System 2000.2.6 and the latest service packs for Cisco Unity. For upgrade procedures, refer to the Release Notes for Cisco Unity 4.0(4) on the Cisco ICS 7750 at this URL:
