Conventions

Various formatting conventions are used in this guide to make it easier for you to recognize and use specific types of information. Table 3 lists these conventions.

Bold Text

Within a procedure, bold text indicates specific folder names or buttons in the GUI.

Click the Modify button on the Action Bar.

Italicized Text

Within a procedure, italicized text indicates text that should be replaced with the name of the object or element that is specific to your network configuration.

Navigate to network > Cisco NI-2 DSLAM Equipment Module > Profiles > Service Element Profile.

Courier Text

Commands formatted as courier indicate shell commands that must entered exactly as shown.

Installation

To install Cisco Provisioning Center, you must install CPC Resource Models, Service Applications and Equipment Modules. For more information about installing Cisco Provisioning Center, refer to the CPC Installation and Administration Guide.
