To obtain information about the drivers that are supported by CiscoWorks NCM:

The Drivers page appears. The Drivers page displays the list of drivers installed on your system and the number of drivers that are currently in use.

For CiscoWorks NCM 1.5 users, driver documentation can be found at the following location on your server:

AAA Configuration
CiscoWorks NCM installs an agent on your AAA server to detect the AAA changes. The agent parses the logs of the AAA application and forwards appropriate logs to CiscoWorks NCM over the port 1099. CiscoWorks NCM uses the AAA logs to track the changes made by the user.
The agent makes only outbound connections and causes minimal load on your AAA server. It denies incoming connections, thereby preventing any security holes on the server.
CiscoWorks NCM supports Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS) directly. Contact customer support if you need help for configuring AAA or if you use another AAA server.

Protocols and Ports
CiscoWorks NCM communicates with the network devices using a combination of the protocols listed in Table 1. If a firewall is present between the NCM server and the network devices, you must provide NCM access to the devices by opening the ports used by those protocols.
