In CiscoWorks LMS Portal, you can customize the portlets by changing the look of the portlet such as its background color, font or text size and also the title. However, you cannot customize the Functional View portlets.

Changing the Background Color

You can change the background color of the portlets using the Look and Feel icon that appears in the portlet.

The Look and Feel icon appears only when you move the mouse over the top right corner of the portlet.

To change the background color of the portlet:

Step 1 Go to CiscoWorks LMS Portal and click a view.

The portlets are displayed.

Step 2 Move the mouse over a portlet to view the icons.

Step 3 Click the Look and Feel icon.

The Look and Feel portlet appears.

Step 4 Click the Background Styles tab.

Step 5 Click the Color Selector icon next to the Color field to select a color swatch.

The selected color swatch is applied to the portlet.

Step 6 Click Save to save all the changes.

Or

Click Reset to restore the portlet to its default color.

Changing the Font or Text Size

You can change the font or text size in the header text of the portlets using the Look and Feel icon that appears in the portlet.

This Look and Feel icon appears only when you move the mouse over the top right corner of the portlet.

To change the font or text size of the portlet:

Step 1 Go to CiscoWorks LMS Portal and click a view.

The portlets are displayed.

Step 2 Move the mouse over a portlet to view the icons.

Step 3 Click the Look and Feel icon.

The Look and Feel portlet appears.

Step 4 Go to the Text styles and:

a. Select the font style from the Font drop-down list.

For instance, you can select Arial, Verdana or any other font from the drop-down list.

b. Select the check box to display the text as bold or italicized.

For instance, you can check Italic, if you want the letters to be in italicized.

c. Select Text Decoration from the Decoration drop-down list.

–None— Displays the portlet title without any decorations.

–Underline — Underlines the portlet title.

–Overline— Draws a line over the portlet title.

–Strike thorough—Draws a line across the portlet title.

Step 5 Click Save to save all the changes.

Or

Click Reset to restore all fields and check boxes to their default values.

Changing the Title

You can change the title of the portlet using the Look and Feel icon that appears in the portlet. The Look and Feel icon appears only when you move the mouse over the top right corner of the portlet.

To change the title of the portlet:

Step 1 Go to CiscoWorks LMS Portal and click a view.

The portlets are displayed.

Step 2 Move the mouse over a portlet to view the icons.

Step 3 Click the Look and Feel icon.

The Look and Feel portlet appears.

Step 4 Select the Use Custom Title checkbox.

The portlet name appears on the Portlet Title field.

Step 5 You can edit the Portlet title field.

Step 6 Click Save to save all the changes.

Or

Click Reset to restore all fields and check boxes to their default values.
