In CiscoWorks LMS Portal, you can arrange and organize portlets using the Layout and the Drag and Drop features.

Moving Portlets in Your View

You can move portlets to any location using the Drag and Drop feature. The number of portlets you can position in a single row depends on the layout you have chosen.

Using Drag and Drop

When you add a portlet to a view, it is displayed in the View page.

You can re-arrange the portlets in a view, as required, by using the drag and drop feature.

To drag and drop the portlet:

Step 1 Click on the blank space in the title bar of the portlet and drag it to the position you want.

Step 2 Drag the portlet into its new location

Step 3 Drop the portlet in this location.

Step 4 You should drop the portlet only when two arrows appear on its sides as shown Figure 8-1.

The number of portlets you can position in a single row depends on the layout you have chosen. The layout also determines the size or contents of a portlet.

You can also change the layout in which the portlets are organized in a view.

Removing a Portlet

You can remove the portlets from all views except the Functional View.

To remove a portlet:

Step 1 Go to CiscoWorks LMS Portal and click View.

The portlets appear.

Step 2 Move the mouse over the title bar of a portlet to view the icons.

Step 3 Click the Remove icon.

A message appears prompting you to confirm your decision.

Step 4 Click OK to confirm.

The portlet is removed from the View page.
