Internetwork Performance Monitor 4.0.1 is the latest release of IPM and it forms a part of the Lan Management Solutions (LMS) 3.0 December 2007 update. This release is an update to IPM 4.0 (LMS 3.0).

The following are the new features and enhancements in Internetwork Performance Monitor (IPM) 4.0.1:

Clickable Legends for Graphs

When there are many curves in a graph, they tend to overlap each other and it becomes difficult to view a particular curve. Clickable legends have been introduced to help you view a particular graph curve by just clicking on the legends available for each graph curve. You can click on a legend to view a particular curve, if it is not already visible. You can click on the same legend again to hide that curve.

Support for 5000 Collectors

IPM now supports 5000 Collectors. This 5000 Collector support is applicable only for:

•IPM licenses that supports 5000 devices.

•IPM Standalone installation which includes installation of Common Services, Portal, CiscoWorks Assistant and IPM only

The Collector support for the other LMS 3.0 licenses remains the same.
