This chapter describes the new and changed information in the Cisco WAN Manager (CWM) database Release 15 (also includes all changes and additions since Release 12).

The section provides an overview of the tables that comprise the CWM database. The list of tables includes a status column to indicate whether a table is new, modified, or obsolete in Release 12 or higher.

CWM Release 15 includes the following default databases:

•scm—Contains tables used by the Statistics Collection Manager (SCM) server and the client.

•statsdb—Contains data tables used for SCM standalone (SA) feature.

•stratacom—Contains the CWM tables and statistics covered in Chapters 2 and 4.

•sysutils—Contains Informix utilities.

Structure of the CWM Database

The stratacom database is an Informix SQL database. Table 1-1 lists the tables used in the stratacom database. For more information about the database tables, see "Database Tables."

asi_port	Modified	Contains information about ATM (ASI/BXM/UXM) ports. In Release 12, modified the vir_portId field to distinguish between regular ports and virtual ports.

circuit_line	—	Contains information about all circuit lines in all the networks.

conn_templ_param	—	Contains the actual connection template parameters.
conn_template	—	Contains information about each of the connection templates that are created.
connection	Modified	Contains details of the Frame Relay, voice, and data connection segment in each network. The following fields have been added: •r_mbs •pref_route_id •direct_route_flag The following fields have been modified: •l_nsap_addr •r_nsap_addr For Release 15, the reserved field stores logical port information.
connection _data	—	Contains connection statistic data.
controller	—	Contains the information about the virtual switch interface (VSI) controller. This table is different from the VSI controller table that was provided in Release 9.2 of CWM.

license_pool	Introduced in Release 15	Contains the inventory of installed licenses and completely defines the license pool owned by the SNMP agent implementing this table.

line	Modified	Contains information about all lines in the networks. This table also includes AXSM-XG path information. mgx3_pl_data	—	Contains information related to Cisco MGX 8850 PXM45-based physical line statistics. This table was previously the axsm_pl_data table.
mgx3_port_data	—	Contains information related to Cisco MGX 8850 PXM45-based port statistics. Information in this table was previously in the ausm_port_data table.
network	—	Contains the ID and name of each managed network in the database.
nodal_ig	Introduced in Release 12	Contains information of Private Network-to-Network Interface (PNNI) logical nodes.
node	Modified	Contains the name and status of each node in each network. The platform type field has been modified. In Release 15, the subtype field has been updated.
node_groom	Introduced in Release 15	Contains node grooming information for each node in the network.
node_info	Modified	Contains information about nodes. For Release 15, the network_id field has been added.
node_parent	Obsolete in Release 12	This table is not used.

In the AUSM8 card (contains eight ports), the Service Queue table contains 128 entries, 16 each for each port. In addition, the table includes information about the eight queues that are used for OAM/ILMI traffic.

rtp_conn	—	Defines attributes that are used to set up a static trunked VoIP connection between a local VISM endpoint and a remote VISM endpoint.

scmcardcoll	—	Contains card based statistics collection information.
scmcardcollhost	—	Contains collection information for each card and host collecting statistics for the card.

scmcollsvr	—	Stores all SCM Collection Servers managed by this SCM Control Server. One record represents one SCM Collection Server.
scmcolpar	—	Stores instances of collection parameters referenced by the nodes and templates. One record represents one collection parameter that includes interval and enable lists.
scmcolparstat	—	Stores the collection parameters for CWM statistics.
scmcolparsubobj	—	Stores the collection parameters for CWM statistic subobjects.
scmenabletype	—	Stores the enable method for each card.
scmidmap	—	Stores a statistic ID mapper. One record represents one type of mapping. The nodes/cards that use this mapping are specified in the scmidmapdef table.
scmidmapdef	—	Stores all nodes/cards that use the ID mapper specified in the scmidmap table.
scmmethod	—	Stores the meta methods for SCM enabling.
scmmethoddef	—	Stores information about the node and card that use the meta methods defined in scmmethod table.
