Traps Config Group—Robust Trap Mechanism

Use the objects in the trapsConfig group to access the Robust Trap Mechanism (RTM) of CTM. This group contains two tables: trapConfigTable (Table F-2) and trapUploadTable (Table F-3). The trapsConfig group also contains the scalar objects shown in the following table.

F.1  Trap Configuration Table

The trapConfigTable contains the list of all managers subscribed for robust traps from CTM. Using the objects in this table, you can register for robust traps, set asynchronous trap retrieval mode, and set normal trap reception mode. The trapConfigTable is indexed by the managerIpAddress object.

nextTrapSeqNum	Object to set the sequence number of the trap to be retrieved. If this object is set to a negative number (-n) during registration, RtmProxy retrieves n previous traps that were sent by RtmProxy before the manager was registered. trapFilterRegisterCategory	Categories of traps that a client can register with RtmProxy.
