Database Schema Tables
This chapter describes tables and table sequence numbers. It contains the following sections:
•
CTM Sequence Numbers
•
CTM Tables (Non-MGX Voice Gateway)
•
CTM Tables (MGX Voice Gateway)
•
NE Statistics-Related Tables
1.1 CTM Sequence Numbers
Sequence numbers are Oracle integers of up to 38 digits that are defined in the database. A sequence generates a serial list of unique numbers for numeric columns in a database's tables. Sequences simplify application programming by automatically generating unique numerical values for the rows in one or in multiple tables. The sequence numbers used in the CTM schema are listed in Table 1-1.

1.2.31 Circuit_Span_BS_Tbl
The Circuit_Span_BS_Tbl stores circuit span information. Each span consists of the span base information, span source circuit termination point, and span destination circuit termination point. The span base information is stored in the Circuit_Span_BS_Tbl. The span source circuit termination point is stored in the Circuit_CTP_Tbl and a reference to the CIRCUIT_CTP_TBL row (that is, database row ID) is stored in the Circuit_Span_BS_Tbl as CIRCUIT_SPAN_SRC_CTP_ACCESSID. Similarly, the span destination circuit termination point is stored in the Circuit_CTP_Tbl and a reference to the CIRCUIT_CTP_TBL row (database row ID) is stored in the Circuit_Span_BS_Tbl as CIRCUIT_SPAN_DEST_CTP_ACCESSID.
Foreign key: FK_CIRCUIT_SPAN_BS_NPID

1.2.70 HFR_Interface_MTU_Layer2
The HFR_INTERFACE_MTU_LAYER2 table is used to retain information about the maximum transmission unit (MTU) value associated with a specific interface. This is important because if an interface supports only a small MTU value, it can create a bottleneck for network traffic. An ideal network path supports large MTU values between source and destination IP addresses. The MTU value reflects the largest packet value supported by the interface.
