Removed the following text:
The TFTP server used for storage of XR 12000 and CRS-1 PM data must meet the following requirements:
1. Files copied to the TFTP server for CRS-1 and XR 12000 PM purposes will contain a time stamp as part of the filename, which makes them unique. For this reason the TFTP server used must support creation of files as data is transferred, without requiring users to manually create a file of the same name at the TFTP server host in advance. Many TFTP servers prevent this by default.
2. The CTM server installation CD includes a TFTP server that must be enabled during installation. This TFTP server meets the requirements for CRS-1 and XR 12000 performance management when installed on a Solaris server. This Cisco-supplied TFTP server on Solaris is the only TFTP server that is supported for use with CTM. TFTP servers running on other platforms might not work correctly.
Replaced with the following text:
Cisco recommends the use of the TFTP server supplied with Solaris 2.8 for storage of XR 12000 and CRS-1 PM data. Other TFTP servers may work, but have not been tested and are not officially supported.
Some TFTP servers prevent this by default, but the Solaris TFTP server supports this capability.

4.2.4 Restoring the CTM Database from the Previous Backup, page 4-6
|
March 14, 2007
|
Enhanced the definition of the CTM GateWay/TL1 Poll Frequency parameter. The poll cycle ensures that TL1 connectivity to the managed nodes works correctly. A failure in the polling for a given node implies that all of the commands directed to that node receive a "Gateway Not Ready" error code. This condition persists until the first successful polling cycle on that NE.
