Configuring Port Test Parameters

Configuring Port Test Parameters

A port test is an optional test that can be run on client ports to ensure that they have a good connection to the network. Running a port test requires a client to be connected to the port that is being tested. For this reason, port testing is normally done during room mapping after the port is assigned a room number (before disconnecting). Refer to the "Mapping Rooms" section.

If you want to change the default port test parameters, follow this procedure.

Step 1 From the Dashboard, click WEBconfig. The BBSM Server Settings web page appears.

Step 2 In the NavBar, navigate to the Port Test Settings web page by choosing Port Test Settings > Site x > Port Test Settings. The Port Test web page appears. (See Figure A-1.)
