Open Caveats

Table 4 lists the caveats for the AON HSE Version 1.0 release, including defect identification numbers and symptoms. When applicable, conditions under which the defects occur and workarounds are also included.

Table 4 Open Defects in Cisco AON AON HSE Version 1.0

Defect ID
Description

CSCso25998

Symptom

Transformation is not supported for file sizes larger than 25 MB.

Workaround

Keep document sizes to less than 25 MB when transformation is required.

CSCso62096

Symptom

Files may be lost when restarting AON while outbound transmissions are in process.

Workaround

Wait until all files have been sent and confirmed received before restarting AON

CSCso62106

Symptom

An error occurs when sending a file with a long file name. The following error message appears:

Data too long for column 'AS2_MESSAGE_ID at row x''

Workaround

Use filenames shorter than 36 characters.

CSCso56229

Symptom

Out folder queue job is slow when a large number of files (>1000) are placed in an Out folder.

Workaround

Place smaller numbers of files (<100) at a time into a given Out folder. With this use scenario, there is a much lower drop frequency of 80 1-KB messages per minute.

CSCso56666

Symptom

The OutboundContent PEP in the sft project times out for payloads larger than 9 MB (Transfer and Transform are successful, but transaction does not successfully complete.

Workaround

Increase the timeout value for the DeliverContent bladelet in the OutboundContent PEP. The default value is 60,000 milliseconds. For 10 MB files, you should increase the timeout value to 360,000 milliseconds. For larger files, use even longer timeout values.

CSCso56840

Symptom

Bulk load is not working in the OMC.

Workaround

None. This feature is not supported in the current release (AON HSE 1.0), but will be supported in the future versions.
