Table 6-1 SIP Command Summary

Command	Purpose
Cisco IOS Releases 12.2(33)SCA and 12.3BC Router(config)#card slot/subslot card-type Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SCB and later Router(config)#card slot card-type	Preprovisions a line card slot in the Cisco uBR10012 router to accept a SIP.
Router# debug c10k-jacket	Enables debugging information for the SIPs.
Router# hw-module subslot slot/subslot reset	Turns power off and on to the SIP in the specified chassis slot.
Cisco IOS Releases 12.2(33)SCA and 12.3BC Router(config)# hw-module subslot slot/subslot shutdown Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SCB Router(config)# hw-module subslot slot/bay shutdown	Powers down a SIP in the specified chassis slot.
Cisco IOS Releases 12.2(33)SCA and 12.3BC Router(config)# no hw-module subslot slot/subslot shutdown Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SCB Router(config)# no hw-module subslot slot/bay shutdown	Powers on a SIP in the specified chassis slot.
Router# show diag slot/subslot	Displays information for a SIP installed in a chassis slot.
Router# show inventory	Displays inventory information about the installed SIPs and SPAs.

Note If the SIP is powered off, any SPAs installed in the SIP do not appear in the output of commands such as show diag and show inventory.
