Objectives
This document describes how to install and configure the PA-POS-1OC3 single-port Packet-over-SONET (POS) port adapter, hereafter referred to as the PA-POS-1OC3, which is used in the following platforms:
•
Cisco 7200 VXR routers, which consist of the 4-slot Cisco 7204VXR router and the 6-slot Cisco 7206VXR router
•
Cisco 7201 router
•
Cisco 7301 router
•
Cisco 7304 PCI port adapter carrier card in the Cisco 7304 router
•
Cisco 7401ASR router
•
Cisco 7500 series routers, which consist of the 5-slot Cisco 7505, the 7-slot Cisco 7507, and the 13-slot Cisco 7513 routers.
•
Cisco 7600 series routers, which consist of the 3-slot Cisco 7603, the 6-slot Cisco 7606, the 9-slot Cisco 7609, and the 13-slot Cisco 7613 routers, using FlexWAN and Enhanced FlexWAN modules.
