Introduction
This chapter describes who should read the Cisco Insight v2 User Guide, how it is organized, its document conventions, and how to obtain documentation and technical assistance.

Note This document assumes a basic familiarity with the concept of the Service Control Application (SCA), the Service Control Engine (SCE) platforms, the Collection Manager, the Subscriber Manager (SM), and the Broadband Console (BB Console).

Audience
Cisco Insight v2 is a web reporting solution for Business Intelligence DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) deployments.
The Cisco Insight v2 User Guide is addressed to:
•Administrators responsible for the platform installation, provisioning, and daily maintenance.
•End-user operators, such as people from marketing or engineering divisions of the service provider.
People working with reports to analyze the network traffic usage by subscribers, SCE links, and geographic PoPs (Point of Presence).
Organization
The Cisco Insight v2 User Guide is categorized into the following chapters:

|
Describes the application parameters and system logging.

Chapter 4, "Network Wizard"

Provides information about the configuration of the network topology and the modality to configure the network objects and visibility rights.

Chapter 5, "Account Management"
|
Describes how to configure the roles, accounts, account groups, and their visibility rights.

Chapter 6, "Reporting"
|
Describes the reporting parameters and a step by step procedure to run a report.

Chapter 7, "Application Monitoring"
|
Describes the tracking abilities of the application and provides information to debug all situations in which the report generation fails.
