Document Objectives
This guide provides instructions for the installation and configuration of the
Cisco Storage Array 12.
Audience
This publication is designed for the person installing the Cisco Storage Array 12, who should be familiar with electronic circuitry and wiring practices and have experience as an electronic or electromechanical technician. A knowledge of SCSI is preferable.

The symbol ^ represents the key labeled Control—for example, the key combination ^D in a screen display means hold down the Control key while you press the D key.

An exclamation point (!) or a pound sign (#) at the beginning of a line of code indicates a comment line.

Cisco documentation and additional literature are available in a CD-ROM package, which ships with your product. The Documentation CD-ROM is updated monthly.
